Always prefer to buy our treking gear from Tom's Outdoors when we can.
Pretty simple realy, they know their products, they know what works and what doesnt and thats cause they are all out there doing stuff in the mountains.
A small Aussie company that appreciates that not everyone is happy with the cheapest gear that comes out of China.
