I ordered a underwater fishing camera for about 150aud. The product arrived and wasn't working. After contacting tomtop there was a brief attempt to pretend that I would get help in a way. They asked me to record the issue and they would send it to their specialists. So I did. Then a email followed saying that I could bring the device to a local shop to let it repair and they would pay partial for the cost. I asked what they mean with "partial" as I paid 150aud for a working product, not for a broken one, I was convinced that I should get a full refund or a new working product.In the next email tomtop offered me 20aud to solve the problem. I refused. After that tomtop came up with 30aud. Which is really a joke. However, I asked if I couldn't simply return the device and get a new one send. Tomtop answered that I can do this, but I have to pay the shipping cost and it could get lost in China and then I would have basically nothing. This sounded like a promise to me. I didn't send it. I didn't get any money back and lost it all. I just hope I can prevent some other people to lose their money to this company.
