OEM Canon cartridge. Best there is. One issue that I've had with Canon is that one gets a "low toner" or "Prepare replacement" type of message long long before the toner cartridge is actually empty. An annoyance and if one still receives faxes, which is rare but does happen, once that happens faxes or fax transmission reports do not print. You have to change the cartridge to get the reports to print. Not the end of the world because faxes are very rare these day, but still one can't turn off the low toner message. An annoyance.
