I have tried with the banks on my own to secure a pre approval so I know I had to spend on a rental to no avail. I had two contract for posention in frount of the bank as well and failed on both occasions , no detail was offered as to why.
Got in touch with Total mortgages and I was sorted inside a week and now have just purchased my first rental .
