When booking a cruise from the United States, none of my credit cards (Amex, Mastercard or VISA) would work. After calling Amex, I was told to have the cruise operator call them and ask for an authorization code. With less than 20 minutes before the American Express office closed, Tour Radar called, received the authorization code, and I was able to confirm payment for the cruise!
