“We could book the tour, however post-sales the tour operator was very unflexible. It probably explains why there was time pressure to book asap. It also wasn't clear how long the booking remained open and we got inconstistent feedback on various channels.”

“i booked AN EnGLISH SPEAKING TOUR [CONFIRMED ] ON A ROSA VIVA. ONCE ONBOARD I was told it was German speaking..and it was... no ENGLISH COMMENTARIES AT ALL. I am waiting for a full refund, which I am owed through International Contract law. The a-rosa group also tried to steal 608$ off my creditcard, until I reported them for card fraud.”

“The tour offered a wonderfully comprehensive experience, showcasing the many elements of Japanese culture, food, garden design, and traditions. Traveling in a small group of people of a similar age really enhanced the experience, making it easy to connect and enjoy the journey together. Sam, our guide, was exceptional—kind, knowledgeable, intuitive, patient, and genuinely passionate about Japan. His guidance truly made the trip special, and we couldn’t have asked for a better leader. The tour was very well organised overall. There were just a couple of minor hiccups, such as the airport pickup vouchers not being provided and some dietary requirements (vegetarian/pescatarian) not always reaching the accommodation venues, which occasionally made dinner arrangements a little more complicated. That said, these were small issues in an otherwise excellent experience.”

“I did the same set of search using the filter function in different months and with the same departure dates, but the search came up with different results. So am not sure if I chose the best option possible. Also I received the 50 dollar discount code after already paying for the booking, which was annoying. The positives - good layout and summary.”

“Love the large selection in destinations, tour activities and lengths, and price points. One difficulty has been gaining access to the tour on the actual TourRadar site by family members I am traveliing with. This means that they cannot order their own e-visas, among other limitations. This is what dropped my rating by a star.”

“Booked a European tour through TourRadar which was then cancelled. I was able to easily contact a real human who ablely assisted me in finding a replacement tour and then they skillfully handled the reinbursement for the cancelled tour and automatically past it onto the replacemnt operator. It certainly save me a lot of further hastle. Top marks to TourRadar”
