We have been waiting for a new fuel pump part for more than 4 months. We took our 2017 Toyota tundra to our neighborhood mechanic in April 2023. It is now almost August 2023. My husband has been without a vehicle for 4 months. We called Toyota and inquired about a loaner vehicle while we wait for the part (that NEVER seems to arrive). EVERY WEEK WE ARE TOLD IT WILL SHIP WITHIN 2 WEEKS. Big fat f**cking lies. Toyota won’t agree to help with a loaner vehicle while we wait for this $1500 part. We are a 2 income household so 2 vehicles are absolutely necessary. We have the money to repair the car but getting that part is impossible. I am SOOO MAD at Toyota. They are supposed to be one of the best, yet our vehicle has been sitting at the mechanics for months rotting outside waiting for this part. We called Toyota USA. They offered ZERO help. I WILL NEVER BUY TOYOTA AGAIN IF THEY DO NOT MAKE THIS RIGHT. I will forever warn others that they are not reputable if they do not make their wrongs right. They are making our lives so much more difficult. We are going to sell this stupid truck and get a Nissan or whatever else. Never a Toyota again. You suck!
