Severe rust damage has destroyed the frame of my 2002 Toyota Sequoia, despite low mileage and proper maintenance. Toyota’s cheap manufacturing and inadequate corrosion protection led to dangerous deterioration, yet they refuse to take full accountability. Despite a limited service campaign for rust issues, Toyota never notified me—proving they’d rather hide problems than fix them. Instead of a proper recall, they offered a pathetic reimbursement after forcing me through endless hoops. Their lack of customer care is appalling. Now, I’m pursuing legal action to hold Toyota responsible for their negligence. This company does not stand behind its products and will abandon you when their failures come to light. Never buying Toyota again. Deeply disappointed in their shady practices and complete disregard for customer safety.
