Goods returned but still no refund after 6 weeks
I ordered a pair of £200 motorcycle jean from Motardinn part of Tradeinn on 30Nov20.
Order number: 20270695
Estimated delivery date: Estimated delivery date at your home between Thu. 10 Dec. and Mon. 14 Dec.
They did not arrive till 31st December. As the delivery took over 30 days I now realise I was entitled under consumer law to request a full refund. Anyway I tried the jeans on and decided the fit was not going to work for me . I paid £8 via their website which gave me a 48hr tracked return label via Royal Mail. I sent the parcel on the 6 Jan and it arrived at their agent Cycleon returns Uk warehouse on 9 Jan. Consumer law dictates they must refund within 14 days. It’s been 6 weeks in that returns warehouse. They acknowledge that it is there (Royal Mail tracking confirms the same).
They refuse to refund until they arrange the return of the goods to their warehouse in Spain. Spain is not the destination that they provide their customer returns process. They are clearly in breach of the law with regard to online returned goods but they really don’t care and will happily just sit on your money.
