I was visiting the area from Alabama. I was asked by a friend to pick up some wine from Trader Joe's. When I checked out, I was charged for 6 bottles instead of the 5 I had to purchase. Not catching the error until I arrived home, I contacted the store requesting a correction. (I had paid by credit card and had a receipt with all the information from the transaction) I was told I would have to return to the store or another Trader Joe's for any adjustment or refund. The closest store is over 3 hours away from where I live. Mysteriously, now my thermal paper receipt is almost blank, (faded like diappearing ink) so I probably have no future recourse even if I do get to a store.
