Wouldn't recommend for a rav4. my friend recommended travall as he has one for his passat which is solid. I have a 2011 rav4 and the dog guard just isn't quite wide enough...it doesn't sit flush into the window recesses and took several attempts to get it to remain steady and not fall on my dogs. definitely took alot longer than 15 mins to fit, more like 2 hours in total and additional spanners and socket sets.
