I had booked a hotel in Havana with travel Republic on the understanding that I could cancel free before May 22, about 2 weeks before departure. I paid the €1 booking deposit. My plans changed and when I went to cancel they charged me €40 admin fee which I could do nothing about as they already had my card details.
Very dishonest practice, Do not trust this outfit, I will never use again.
