“I have booked with travel republic a few times and I found there website easy to find what I was looking for I have come back of my lovely caribbean holiday booked with travel republic To find there website has changed It is no longer easy & simple to find my next package holiday So I have give up and will search with another company Very disappointing”

“Pleased to see there are plans to close down Travel Republic. What a dreadful travel agent with a zero understanding of customer service. Thanks to TR, I was turned away from Heathrow and told to go home. I could not fly to NZ to see my family. This was due to a failure on TR to provide all necessary info. As the "experts", they were routing me via Australia with a less than 2 hour layover in Sydney. They were aware I had a passport that needed a transit visa for Australia. Yes it was my responsibility to obtain the visa but for them simply to make me aware at the time of booking I needed one. This was my first trip to NZ. When it went wrong, they washed their hands of me AND kept my money. What a disgusting company.”

“Booked a holiday for a good price, didn’t get any confirmation for 24 hours, and then received three emails saying it was cancelled. No money in my account, no refund information, and the booking is gone. My flight is in three days. Would never recommend it to anyone.”

“I have booked two holidays to Dubai with Paul and going to book another one for next September.He was very helpful and helped me through priceing I could have gone elsewhere but I really appreciate what he did for me. So give the Yorkshire sounding lad with the London phone number a pat on the back and a pay rise down to earth bloke excellent service and professional to the highest level.”

“Booked a holiday for a family of 4 at the hilton with breakfast. Arrived at hotel and they advised it was only booked for 2 adults for breakfast!!! I said, why would I book breakfast for just 2 adults when its a family of 4!! They wanted nearly another 1k for the cost for my 2 daughters. When I spoke to travel republic which subsequently cost me 85.00 for the call, they advised it was in the small print!!!! Very cheeky and clever!!! The hotel we stayed at then charged my credit card every 2 days at least £180.00!!! For "holding charge" however the amounts were different. Thry couldn't explain after I cleared my balance after a few days, I instructed to them.no more charges, however they continued to charge my card taken it over the limit!!! Absolutely disgusting. Both the Hilton and Travel Republic are just out to rob you and use small prints and loop holes to screw you over. Disgusting company.dishonest. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!”

“I've used Travelrepublic many times and found them great, however since last April, I've not been able to get to the actual booking stage. I find the hotel I want and when I get to 'checking out' , the room has apparently gone, when I remove cookies, look again, the rooms are all there. While I appreciate it is a 'live' site, that's clearly not what's happening here. All the rooms that show as available magically dissappear when you click on them, and magically reappear when you search again. There's obviously something wrong back end... or, some of the low prices are simply 'click bait' , personally it puts me off searching on there at all.”

“Booked for the Maldives. I had a problem with transfers. I received a confirmation that did not show them. Phone service is useless as are the staff. Awaiting modified confirmation.”

“DO NOT BOOK WITH TRAVEL REPUBLIC They made an error on my return flight so I ended up missing flight, was left at airport, on my own, foreign country, had to buy more flights to get home...trying to sort it now....stay away from them”
