I am shocked to see the bad reviews given to Travel Republic. Took a long time to answer and was unable to change or refund my holiday but that’s the rules, I understood. In today’s world travel is unpredictable. Some on line company’s don’t even have a number to call, just an online chat. I am happy with the service I have received.

I am a loyal customer of TR. Even through the pandemic they pulled through. They made a few errors on the way but who could forsee the devastation of this virus. Well done TR

Well as expected holiday cancelled by travel republic for our florida trip they phone and said they would refund in 5 days. True to thier wird refund in my account in 5 days well done travel republic

Have booked with TR multiple times, helped me out during Icelandic volcano disruption. No quibbles with covid travel problems either, they have kept me informed. I chose a credit note initially but when that came to an end they phoned and I opted for a refund, received in 5 days. Well done TR, I will book with you again

Had holiday booked for 2nd August 2020 got cancelled 29th July and they said I'd have refund in 7 weeks well 7 weeks on and my refund paid in my bank and I've not had to send 1 message as thought I'd give the 7 weeks with all this going on with virus and they would have lots to sort out and they done what they said they were going to do so thanks travel republic and Defford book again with them

Excellent service from Travel Republic. I had to cancel accommodation booking to Crete due to quarantine restrictions. I messaged them through manage your booking. I got a lovely reply from Claire the next day advising the money we paid would be transferred back into my account within 3-5 working days. Money was back in my account 3 days later. well done Travel Republic 😀😀

Booked with Travel Republic in October last year for 1 week in Ibiza commencing 26th July. Was kept up to date with all Covid implications throughout and thoroughly enjoyed our week's holiday. Now out of quarantine on return. Thanks to Travel Republic for their professionalism throughout.

Having booked flights with TR (and seat upgrades with two airlines) pre-Covid, I patiently awaited news from the media, the airlines and the Gov website to establish if my trip would be going ahead or not. Yes, TR took a while to email me; yes, their phone lines were deactivated and yes, they did not reply to my follow up. BA meanwhile published the cancellation of my flight in good time and they allowed me a change of flight with no trouble at all. But I could not access the flight information with EasyJet, so when TR emailed me three days before my trip, inviting me to get in touch, I was delighted. From here on in, they completely redeemed themselves: Mike Robinson at TR was faultless, providing friendly, helpful and knowledgeable guidance on how to fix things, demonstrating a real 'can-do' attitude. He confirmed the changes with my BA booking and guided me through the EasyJet website so I could change the flight there too (incidentally, a completely trouble-free process). I was left feeling so much happier having spoken with someone who knew what they were talking about and who actually got things done whilst I was on the phone. I am now looking forward to a holiday at the end of the year with flights, seat upgrades and accommodation all planned and booked. To anyone stressing about the current situation, I would urge you patience and forbearance: things will get sorted out and you are in safe hands with Travel Republic.

I have booked with TR for many years and never had a problem.Covid put a stop to my Easter holiday and I have now had a full refund 18th May without requesting or pestering or abusing them These people have thousands of booking to sort out and probably with skeleton staff give them a chance and be patient and yes I will definitely be booking with them again

In amongst all the current holiday mayhem with people unable to get refunds from so called big companies that travel republic refunded all of our money in timely fashion. Due to travel to Jersey on April 6th but coronavirus put paid to that -- TR said they would refund me week commencing May 25th and this they did for both hotel and an easyjet flight.

I got this email yesterday: We hope this email finds you safe and well. With the scale of this situation and the number of customers affected, we understand that this is an unsettling time for everyone. We also appreciate and apologise for the extensive time taken to secure this outcome for you, and so we hope this announcement alleviates any concerns you may have had during this very challenging time. It brings us great pleasure to let you know that we will start to issue refunds from next Monday 4 May. To make the refund process as fair as possible, our Customer Service team will be processing each individual refund in strict departure date order. Just got an email to say my holiday at the end of May has been cancelled. Followed the instructions they sent and requested a refund in under 2 minutes. I know I haven’t got my Refund yet but so far this is much easier than my experience with British Airways on my other holiday where I can’t even register my claim and they cut me off when calling.

I have been booking holidays through TR for many years now and I have to say that I have never been more happy with a travel company. Every hotel I have booked with them has been exactly what was described and I and my family have never been let down. In my opinion a very transparent and honest cpmpany to deal with. Fab online booking agent buy no trouble for you to call if in doubt as I was this time didn't book transfer now have a mobile line too used them for 6 yrs so far

We had a problem with our accommodation on holiday last month but Travel Republic listened to the problem and sorted it out positively and reasonably quickly. Very happy with their service and the outcome.

When we arrived at Dalaman Airport, our TravelRepublic transfer driver was waiting for us. He took our luggage, helped us into the minibus and set off. On the journey, he stopped went into a shop and came back with water for us. On the return transfer, the driver (Mehmet) stopped on the way to the airport and bought everyone an ice-cream. Brilliant customer service and superb Turkish hospitality.

Last night I booked a holiday to the Algarve for July. Everything seemed to be fine and all went through okay however about an hour later I receuved a message saying my flight company had out the flights up by an extra £390. They advised to contact them ASAP. I contacted them this morning and they could not have been more helpful. They gave me 3 options. Either I cancel everything and receive a full refund at no cost, I cancel the flights and source my own or I speak to their sales team and see if they have similar flights. I decided to cancel the flights and source my own. They then advised that should I be unsuccessful in finding flights I could ring back and cancel the rest of the holiday at no cost. I managed tonsource alternative flights and am pleased to say I'm still getting away.
