“In amongst all the current holiday mayhem with people unable to get refunds from so called big companies that travel republic refunded all of our money in timely fashion. Due to travel to Jersey on April 6th but coronavirus put paid to that -- TR said they would refund me week commencing May 25th and this they did for both hotel and an easyjet flight.”

“I got this email yesterday: We hope this email finds you safe and well. With the scale of this situation and the number of customers affected, we understand that this is an unsettling time for everyone. We also appreciate and apologise for the extensive time taken to secure this outcome for you, and so we hope this announcement alleviates any concerns you may have had during this very challenging time. It brings us great pleasure to let you know that we will start to issue refunds from next Monday 4 May. To make the refund process as fair as possible, our Customer Service team will be processing each individual refund in strict departure date order. We will begin issuing refunds from week commencing 4th May 2020. This will be for all holidays that where affected up to and including 22nd March 2020. We will continue this on a rolling weekly basis, with refunds issued 7 weeks from the original departure week following the schedule laid out below; Due to travel Expected refund week Week-ending 22 March 2020 Week commencing 4 May Week-ending 29 March Week commencing 11 May Week-ending 5 April Week commencing 18 May Week-ending 12 April Week commencing 25 May Week-ending 19 April Week commencing 1 June Week-ending 26 April Week commencing 8 June Week-ending 3 May Week commencing 15 June Week-ending 10 May Week commencing 22 June Week-ending 17 May Week commencing 29 June Week-ending 24 May Week commencing 6 July Week-ending 31 May Week commencing 13 July We do want to highlight that for any customer who has claimed for non-delivery of services through their payment provider, your refund will be managed in a separate process and in accordance to the terms of that provider. We will continue to work hard for you, and all our customers, as the situation unfolds week by week and hope to see you again when you’re ready and able to take your next holiday. “Just got an email to say my holiday at the end of May has been cancelled. Followed the instructions they sent and requested a refund in under 2 minutes. I know I haven’t got my Refund yet but so far this is much easier than my experience with British Airways on my other holiday where I can’t even register my claim and they cut me off when calling.”

“I have been booking holidays through TR for many years now and I have to say that I have never been more happy with a travel company. Every hotel I have booked with them has been exactly what was described and I and my family have never been let down. In my opinion a very transparent and honest cpmpany to deal with. “When we arrived at Dalaman Airport, our TravelRepublic transfer driver was waiting for us. He took our luggage, helped us into the minibus and set off. On the journey, he stopped went into a shop and came back with water for us. On the return transfer, the driver (Mehmet) stopped on the way to the airport and bought everyone an ice-cream. Brilliant customer service and superb Turkish hospitality.”

“Last night I booked a holiday to the Algarve for July. Everything seemed to be fine and all went through okay however about an hour later I receuved a message saying my flight company had out the flights up by an extra £390. They advised to contact them ASAP. I contacted them this morning and they could not have been more helpful. They gave me 3 options. Either I cancel everything and receive a full refund at no cost, I cancel the flights and source my own or I speak to their sales team and see if they have similar flights. I decided to cancel the flights and source my own. They then advised that should I be unsuccessful in finding flights I could ring back and cancel the rest of the holiday at no cost. I managed tonsource alternative flights and am pleased to say I'm still getting away.”

“The customer service at travel republic is excellent . Laura was assisting with my hotel booking in Mallorca (29/03/2018). She was very efficient , nothing was too much trouble and she was also super friendly. Company offers great deals and prices.”

“we were recommended T.R. by a friend. We booked a holiday in Torremolinos for 10 days Whilst we were there my wife took ill with back problems .after2 days I decided to get her home ,as the weather was violent and we were stuck in a small room9Sol Principe,not very good!) T.R. were exceptional .Their in-resort customer services very patiently arranged our flights home ,Jacob in particular and when we got home T.R. refunded us £400 for the rest of the unused days .I have never written a review for anything before but truly feel T.R. deserve this accolade and the will be my future go-to Travel agent”

“Found a deal for a holiday to Dubai that was cheaper than anywhere else. Missed the flights due to a number of reasons (have since repressed the trauma lol). Due to the complex arrangements behind the package (very complicated) staff were able to arrange new flights quickly. We were told multiple times by Emirates that the flights we had secured first time round were super cheap, so Travel Republic are able to cut costs by creating packages.”

“I read bad reports about a hotel I booked and phoned TravelRepublic in the hope of changing hotels and wads dealt with very efficiently by a lady called Bella who handled the change and put my mind at rest. I cannot praise her enough and hope her boss reads this and rewards her. I have just returned from my break and have already booked another break with TR. I am more than happy to highly recommend them to anyone looking to book a holiday or hotel. Thanks once again TR and especially thank you Bella.”
