I did get a good price with them, but wanted to change my accomodation as we were already staying there for 7 nights. I could only get through via logging a request and the responses were slow to come through. I asked if I could just take a credit, to which they also said no, which was fine, as I was in the 7 day no-cancellation window. But then I suggested booking an additional 2 nights (for a total of 5 nights) at another hotel they had at a higher rate, which would have given them additional revenue. Unfortunately, the service team was just trained to respond "No, you're already in your non cancellation period." It doesn't make a lot of sense that you wouldn't take my additional revenue for a hotel switch, but then again, maybe they operate differently. In the end, it wasn't a huge problem, but if we had been staying somewhere awful, it could have been a nightmare. I'll likely book with Booking.com, because they have quick responses from customer service and are accessible via phone and live chat too. They also have a bit more flexibility in their cancellation in certain cases - like, if i wanted to upgrade or take a credit.

I would like to no if my holiday is going a head as aim booked to go on holiday to Malta on 10 September till 20 with air Malta, but I have just found out that air Malta are not flying from Gatwick this year, they are only flying from Heathrow so not sure what is going to happen, even if you transfer us to a different airline or from Heathrow would be fine if this allows us to get to are holiday I have sent emails but no response help

Not happy with Travel Republic today. Booked a hotel in Marmaris for next July. Unfortunately I booked 6 nights instead of 5 (old person error ). Spoke to a customer advisor to change to 5 nights who told me I had to cancel the booking and rebook costing me £25 to do so!. So I am loosing a nights booking and costing me 25 quid to do it!! I don't think so ..daylight robbery

I wanted to manage my hotel booking online and amend my stay to one day less. No other changes. I could not do this without sending a message to customer support. The system would not allow me to make changes myself as you can with booking.com etc. Travel republic took four days to respond! Even then the response only indicated that my request was being processed. I phoned customer support to complain about the delay. Customer support apologised and took my details. But it took a further three days to get the booking amendment completed. And then I was charged an amendment fee of £25 despite my amendment being made almost two months before I was due to stay at the hotel. Next time I will use booking.com it’s easier, there is no charge for amendments and you can do it yourself.

Booked a flight only to be called by a very rude lady at Travel Republic hours later telling us the airline had put the price up by £180. No apology for advertising flights at the wrong price or anything ! Needless to say we cancelled and booked elsewhere.

Suggest you do not book transfers via Travel Republic. I have booked hotels and flights via travel republic before but never transfers until my last trip. I booked a speedy transfer, paying a premium for this but what should have been a 25 minute transfer was nearly two hours as we were the last of 16 stops. Have complained to Travel Republic but they are disputing what I say.

I have booked hotels with Travel Republic for a few years but with problems linked to my last two hotel booking I have moved to another provider. In October this year I booked a hotel in Spain on TR website and paid the full amount by debit card. I did not receive a Hotel Voucher so rang the firm and was told that my selected hotel was not available. I then booked another hotel with TR. Later I was told over the phone that the hotel I had originally booked was available so I returned to my original booking. Again on 2nd November 2018 I booked a hotel on line to Malta and received a Hotel Voucher. On 12 November 2018 I was informed that the Hotel I booked was not available and another hotel was selected for me by TR. That is just a week before my departure on 19.11.18 and 10 days after my receiving a hotel Voucher. I then directly contacted the Hotel and I was told that the hotel had not received a request for a booking under my name although they had a vacancy at that time for my 10 days stay. I then cancelled my booking with TR and have asked for a full refunds. I am going to Malta with another Travel Firm. All this has left me with extra work and much waste of my time with changing hotels, airport transfers, shifting appointments and the rest.

I recently made a reservation at a Turkish hotel for 2 people, myself and Turkish friend. When we arrived at the hotel my friend was told this price was only for European passport holders and not Turkish residents. My friend had to pay substantially more money or would not be allowed to stay at the hotel. Had he not agreed then the holiday would have been ruined. Not only is this gross discrimination against Turkish residents but why didn't TR state this policy before the booking was made. With this issue and the fact it's not possible to see photos of the room you will be getting I certainly wouldn't use this appalling company again!!

Booked attraction tickets, money was taken straight away but no confirmation received. Phoned the next day and was told that it could take 12 hours to come through, but still was not received 36 hours later. Phoned again but customer services said that the ticket booking people do not work weekends, so I should here between 9 and 10 am on Monday. Nothing happened so I phoned again on the Monday, just before lunchtime. Was told that the tickets had been booked and they had been sent out special delivery for arrival on Tuesday. Still not received 2 days later and the website now says they have just been sent out today. Hopefully they will be OK, but Travel Republic have done nothing to encourage my trust! If they had been upfront and said that tickets will be dispatched within a week, I wouldn't have needed to spend an hour or so on the phone trying to find out what is going on

Two things: 1. I'm very disappointed that we did not get the extra leg room requested - instead, without asking, Travel Republic booked us in for speedy boarding. Even if our needs could not be met - why charge us for something we didn't want, didn't ask for and didn't use? When TR called me responding to my email, I was told "that's Easy Jet, that's not us" such poor customer service. I feel money has been taken under false pretenses and no offer of refunding this 'extra' which was imposed upon us, 2. The shuttle picked us up ridiculously early (appx 50 people on the full size bus WITH NO AIR CONDITIONING. This is just greedy, our hotel is only 10 mins from the airport but we spent ONE HOUR driving around lots of hotels picking up too many people whose flights were not for many hours, far in excess of usual airport checking in times. A couple of staggered mini buses would have been a better option. It is apparent that customer comfort did not feature highly in this 'keep it cheap and pile 'em high' option. On the upside - the Sheraton was beautiful..

Last year 2015 we couldn't find the car hire company Flicker and no one else at the airport had either after about 30mins of going around all the car hire companies at the airport eventually found an unmanned desk and waited 10mins for someone to appear ! This year Oct 2016 waited a day for confirmation of car hire to be told,no cars available in Oct don't believe it ! When they transferred to an alternative company they wanted to charge us £100 extra for an similar car and after one hour on phone managed to get £50 out of them but when it came to booked they wanted us to wait five days for a refund of the original booking and we had to start a new booking with no guarantee we'd get the car we wanted.Told them not on and asked for a refund .
