Very bad experience paid £84 for pick and drop from airport to hotel and hotel to airport, no service been provided manage to arrange own transport after long flight when contact saying flight been late so only wait for 1 hour, when flight late company should aware what time flight will come if you are professional, even same thing happens when need to come back no transport arrive, after contact company ask for refund they said company that we hire they not giving refund totally unprofessional company and people charge money advance then not provide the service then saying no refund jokers, Never use this company if anything goes wrong they not refund or communicate take to much time then nothing waste of money, No recommended for anyone please not use them.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!! Do yourself a favor and read all the negative comments before booking with these SCAMMERS! You will see how many cases of fraud there are. I booked a holiday for New York on the 15th of September. I paid the booking fee, almost 200£. A few hours later I found out it will take a few months to sort my Visa out so I contacted them to cancel the holiday. They said they will only cancel my booking if I pay more than 900£ for flights I'm never going to use and that are booked more than 3 months from now. Before I booked the holiday, my husband called them to ask details about the booking fee, if it is refundable or not and what money do we lose in case of cancellation. The person he spoke to said that we lose the deposit, never mentioned that we have to pay for the flights in full. When we received confirmation for the booking, not once was it mentioned that payment of the deposit means we agree to pay for the flights in full in case of cancellation. They are lying and twisting words in their favor although nowhere in their terms and conditions is it ever mentioned that payment of the booking fee means acceptance of payment of flights in case of cancellation. Since then I've been in contact with them several times regarding the cancellation of my holiday. They kept refusing to cancel and insisted I have to pay the flights although they haven't actually gave me any proof to why I have to do that. They also completely ignored everything I said. I refused every time. I've send two complaints and in two months I never heard back from them and now they have my information to a credit company??? So I can be bullied out of my money. This is how they operate, by lying, deceiving, giving false information and now bullying. Avoid at all cost!

This company is con artists, I booked 2 hoildays for 2023 and they got back to me and said they made a mistake on the prices which I booked on and I have to pay extra £1100 on top of the sale price which was agreed, They blamed it on there suppliers. All phone calls are recorded but the manger Tom wasn’t having any of it, I booked the hoilday in may and aug for surprises for my wife and daughter, the may hoilday which was agreed on the phone and I got confirmation email was for £1,250 but they came back started asking for £2,500, the aug hoilday I booked it for £1,289 but they came back and asked for £2,300, how is it a customers fault that they messed up on the price. As a company they should honour the prices. I had to cancel both hoildays because this travel republic is a pathetic company with no back bone!!!! Losers! Crocks!!!!

This is not a serious Travel Company! I had a reservation in Rhodes Island and after i came to the hotel they said that hotel is overbooked and they can alocate me and my son i other hotel. The other hotel was in different city 20km away in the middle of nowhere! I tried to contact with TR but anyone answer for hours!!! After 4 nights we were alocate in the hotel which I choose. I also get answer by email from TR and they told me that they refund me for that 4 nights. Today 09.11.22 - almost half year after I back from that holiday TR give me answer about my MANY emails where is my refund? They told me that I was whole stay in the hotel which I choose and they dont give me refund!!!! THIS IS A SCAM!!! AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! CONSUMER SERVICE IS NOT EXISTS - THEY WANT ONLY YOUR MONEY AND IF THERE IS ANY PROBLEM - YOU ARE ALONE WITH IT!!!

Worst company I have ever dealt with, customer service none existent, they “understand” but can’t help. Go elsewhere. Basically if they can land you there it’s all ok !!!!

Absolutely pathetic organisation. Impossible to contact to amend or change bookings, even after receiving an email asking me to contact them. Spent over 5 hours on hold at various times over the period of a week. Funny thing is if you are ringing to make a payment or booking they answer the phone within three rings

Booked accommodation for next year, literally 10 mins after booking we have to change the accommodation date. Followed the online instructions & emailed the correct dates. Got acknowledgement but waited months for response. Email received 3 days ago, due to hectic time at work, not had time to look at it. Just had phone call from them, sounded as if they were in a school playground, the screaming kids drowned out what the caller was saying. They asked why I hadn't responded to their email, its been 3 months waiting for theirs. Caller said its taken this long to hear back from the resort. Strange as I emailed the resort as soon as I knew dates were wrong & resort replied within 15 minutes saying new dates were fine. Couldnt hear caller due to noise, honestly sounded as if a teenage party was in full swing. Did they sound like a travel agent..No. Was the caller professional & knowledgeable..No Do I have any trust in them.. No Do I think my holiday with them will go ahead? Absolutely not... Thankfully only small deposit paid on credit card.

GLORIFIED THIEVES. AVOID!! These people are nothing but glorified thieves. I booked a holiday for New York yesterday. I paid the booking fee, almost 200£. A few hours later I found out it will take a few months to sort my Visa out so I contacted them to cancel the holiday. Not only they are not going to refund my booking fee but they also want me to pay 900£ extra for flights I'm never going to use and that are booked more than 3 months from now. Every single airline company has a cancellation and refund policy in place, including the one that the flight tickets are from. When checking online on the airline company it does says that any changes/cancellations are free. No matter where you book, you can apply for a refund in a certain time frame. They are lying to your face telling you that you have to pay for these flights. I contacted them via the app, via Facebook, I talked to 4 different people today and haven't been able to cancel my booking. They refuse to cancel and they want to charge me extra. AVOID THIS COMPANY! I will obviously complain regarding this and escalate this to the proper authorities.

Be careful booking with Travel Republic. The information are not true( we booked 5* and arrive in3*). Name of the hotel was even different, that's why we couldn't find it online. Never again with Travel Republic.

If I could put zero stars, I would! Our trip was a disaster from the start. 1. The flights changed to a different airline and an earlier departure. We were not told and missed our flight. 2. We had to spend £175 out of our tight budget on food and drink for our family of 4 at the temporary accommodation we were put in. We were supposed to be heading to an all inclusive hotel so had not budgeted for this. £125 compensation promised but not received. 3. Landed in Antalya, transfers had not been changed. Another £80 out of our budget. We were promised we would get it back, still have not received it. 4. Got to the hotel. Website stated it's English speaking. It's all Russian and Polish. Not even the staff speak English. Entertainment is in Russian, Polish and Turkish. 5. Olivia Stead, our travel rep was rude and then plain ignorant by ignoring all emails. 6. Transfer back to airport was not changed to match new return flight. We missed it. Had to organise it ourselves. 7. Our luggage, which we had already paid £110 for was not added to our new flight. We had to pay 270 euros to bring it back. 8. All emails have been ignored and no promised compensation or refunds have been issued. Travel Republic destroyed our holiday. It was the holiday from hell and not one single person there, especially Olivia Stead, cares. Our sons were devastated because we could not afford the promised excursions and being stuck in a hotel they could not enjoy due to the language barrier made it worse and we were all stressed beyond belief. Getting home was the best part of our entire trip. I will avoid this company like the plague and would recommend everyone else do the same.

Book with rubbish company now ABTA involved when we booked online flight with Turkish Airlines said baggage included after going through all the process of booking hotel and transfer then to payment .Paid deposit and got all emails from travel Republic upon checking paperwork for flight no hold baggage so spent 3 hours on phone to be told to goto airline web site log in and add baggage so did that now Turkish airline want £600 to add as extra baggage 2x baggage both ways DO NOT BOOK YOUR HOLIDAY WITH THESE PLEASE BE WARNED YOU'LL END UP PAYING MORE THAN IF YOU BOOK THROUGH TUI

We made a booking to travel to Cyprus 9th August. We were offered three options for a room at the Athena Beach Hotel. We paid for the highest thinking that this would be a family room and asked for them to confirm as it was not clear on the site. Nobody responded. We decided to contact the hotel directly who confirmed all the types of room we wanted were identical (so why pay more!). We made many calls without any clarification. I asked for a refund of the extra we paid and they refused, also refused to give anything above what those who paid less for the same. So now we end up paying more for the same as our neighbours. We feel scammed, so beware of misleading website. Don’t believe everything you read and don’t expect good communication.

Honestly the worst, most disorganised, unethical travel company I’ve ever used. I’d avoid them at all costs. Not only did they completely fail to inform us that our flights to and from Egypt had been cancelled (despite having been informed by easyJet on the 10th June), they also failed to tell us that there would be no more flights to Egypt until the end of August, as well as the fact that our hotel’s beach had been closed due to two fatal shark attacks. All pretty important information if you ask me, which was never ever relayed to us. Furthermore, when I called to reorganise the holiday I was passed around from person to person for more than 3 and a half hours, and was finally rushed into booking a holiday to a hotel in which the man told me was 5 stars with amazing reviews. This was false as I discovered multiple awful reviews with many people complaining of mould, awful food etc. I am 19 and have been working for months and months to afford a holiday for myself and my boyfriend, when I called up a couple minutes after to cancel this booking and find an alternative, the man told me I could not have my money back. The holiday they have given me as an alternative is not at all worth the money I purchased my first holiday for and they have also failed to add the correct luggage, which I had previously payed for. I feel as though they have completely conned me. They have caused me so much stress and anxiety, I will tell all my friends to never ever use this company and will forever steer clear of it.

AVOID AT ALL COST! Once this company has your money, trying to get through to them is a nightmare! You’ll hold for a minimum of 30 minutes, sometimes an hour, then, if your lucky, you’ll speak to someone that’ll tell you they’ll sort your issue out. In fact, remember to take names. In my case, a simple name change! That simple name change took TWO MONTHS to sort out, several phone calls, two complaint emails to them (which I never received a response to using their ‘contact us’ link), a new passport, fast tracked (on their advice), costing me £142.00 and finally a threat to complain to ABTA! That did the trick and miraculously my name change was done in a couple of hours!! The stress it caused me was unreal. Not knowing if it would all get sorted in time. I got told ‘take your marriage certificate, that SHOULD be enough’. Not good enough when you’ve been told by your airline it WOULD NOT be enough! I HAD to have the same name on my ticket as my covid pass or they would not let me fly! As if that’s not enough, after paying my full balance at the start, my credit card was absolutely hammered immediately after payment to TR… fortunately my bank did not honour the attempted fraud. The card was cancelled. THEN, when I got my new fast tracked passport, in my married name, and scanned it over to TR, (they only had my maiden name prior to that), I get a ‘fraudulent’ call from some young guy pretending to be from my bank, asking for me by my MARRIED name!!! Weirdly, a day after scanning the new passport in my married name over to TR… coincidence?? My bank didn’t think so. Obviously I told the idiot that if he really was from my bank he’d know the card had been cancelled already… he hung up of course! So, if you want to book a trouble free holiday, without any stress should you need help at any stage, and potentially having your bank account cleared out, if they do have a glitch in their system, (which I did report to them), I’d avoid this company. They will not help you. Unless of course you threaten them with ABTA… but should you really have to take it that far….

I booked a package holiday to mitsis rinela beach resort in Crete from the 20th - 26th June. when choosing the rooms we paid for a junior suite sea view with sharing pool, which is advertised to have a swim up pool. So basically You open the balcony doors on the ground floor and have direct Access to a private pool. So we paid extra to book this room as it was more expensive than a few other choices. The total holiday for 2 people for 6 nights was £3200. Upon arriving to the room we were taken to the 2nd floor and had a sea view, no access to the sharing pool. Upon speaking to the receptionist she advised there is no such room (sea view junior suite sharing pool) and travel republic has made an error. She also advised there was no rooms to move to and that I had to contact travel republic. As you can imagine it ruined the first day of our holiday as I had to wait in the hotel room trying to contact travel republic which took over 45 minutes and cost me On my mobile phone. Upon speaking to someone called ‘Mark’ he answered and said he would look into it and call me back. He did not call me back until the next day but due to the service I missed the call and I had a voice message left to call back, but then had to wait to speak to someone again. I went back to the receptionist and she offered us a family suite garden view sharing pool room instead which we accepted. This room was still cheaper than the original room we had paid for. I have emailed to make a complaint and seek compensation due to the room being Falsely advertised from travel republics side and not being given a room we paid for. We have paid £3200 for this holiday and we feel conned out of our money. We are both hard working nurses and feel this holiday was wrongly advertised. I have made an original complaint on the 27th June. It is currently the 6th July and I am yet to have a reply. Please beware guys this company is awful. It’s not like it was even a cheaper option compared to other companies

I have just booked a holiday, I have tried calling them, manage my booking, no reply or response whatsoever. Disgusting!!! What do I do? I could possibly still cancell, but there customer service does not even exsist.
