We booked a trip to Uzbekistan with Travel Local. There was lots of well-informed advice, with arrangements suited to our own needs and interests. We were not being herded around with lots of other Brits, but had a chance to meet local people and begin to get 'under the skin' of the country. We had a fabulous holiday and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Travel Local - and already thinking about our next trip.
