By using Travellocal you are in fact using a local agent in the country you are visiting. This year we visited Myanmar and the local agent was fantastic. We emailed backwards and forwards in order to perfect our trip. Everything worked out really well and we had an amazing experience. We have just finalised a trip to Ethiopia and again the agent was great. Someone who lives in the country and knows it well is surely going to give better advice than an agent in UK. And of course your money goes directly into the local economy.
