Stayed in Portsmouth city Center hotel . On arrival car park only has 20 spaces this is a big hotel no discount on other parking near by so this isn’t a great value hotel as you need to add parking staff also park in the hotel parking so hardly any space for guests. Room lovely and clean . In walking distance to attractions. Down side our first get away since Covid masks in side still stands but not in this hotel staff don’t all wear mask also lift states no sharing with other house holds but staff get in with you .we had to ask if he would put his mask on in the lift . Big signs saying wear masks at reception people have no masks on leaning over desk talking to staff but staff did not ask people to wear their mask .also standing at the bar . Was very disappointed a big chain can not follow simple government rules .
