First class service from the lovely ladies on reception who couldn’t do enough to help. Lovely clean room excellence nights sleep cannot fault. Charity went above and beyond to help cannot fault she is a credit to the brand

Absolutely fab stay ,nothing too much trouble,room was lovely and clean ,staff are amazing especially Collette and Julie, will definitely returning,we have visited a few times now and always enjoy our stay 😀

Shocking service. Made a booking with Premier Inn and had a change to make. The date was cheaper and we were refunded the difference, Travelodge, well what a difference. Had to pay £12.50 to change the date. Room was cheaper but they wont refund the difference! Don't touch them. Go Premier Inn every time.

Anna made our stay at Travelodge Halifax truly exceptional. Despite our late arrival, she welcomed us warmly and handled our check-in with ease and professionalism. She was polite, friendly, and genuinely attentive, making us feel instantly comfortable after a long journey. Her outstanding service really stood out and set the tone for a lovely stay—thank you, Anna!

Travelodge Poole North. We stayed for 2 nights with breakfasts each morning - we booked online. When I arrived for check-in the receptionist said she couldn't see my payment for breakfasts and that I would therefore have to pay again . I did this (and intended to check my Travelodge invoices later and take it up with Customer Services) I have indeed emailed Customer Services 4 times and their response has been "you've been charged correctly because you cancelled breakfast and this is non-refundable, and then booked breakfast again". I submitted details to them taken from all my Travelodge invoices to prove that I did not cancel breakfast and asked them for a detailed explanation. Their responses have been one-line, without answering my questions or explaining their invoices. In my last email 5 days ago I informed them that I will be escalating my complaint, to which they have not responded. I then emailed the CEO (found his contact details online) but my email was returned with a message to say he was no longer in the business. As this is clearly a complaint you would have expected them to forward it to the current CEO!! Reading the reviews from other dissatisfied customers it seems that Travelodge make it extremely difficult to escalate a complaint to senior management /Directors - which is certainly my experience, too - on the company website there are no contact details for any of their current senior management team. I'm still out of pocket and Travelodge have demonstrated a complete disregard for me as a paying and complaining customer. I would recommend staying anywhere else but Travelodge.

The new style rooms are too small, the dressing table has shrunk the storage coat hanging are has been reduced with a chair directly underneath means you can’t hang long garments (dresses etc) bedside tables are smaller, one small towel per person. Rooms felt cramped and do not seem to be keeping up with competitors, drab and dreary, can get better with competitors

London Croydon Central Stayed 30th Nov to 2nd Dec 2025 Do not stay here Got into the room and it smelt “Damp”. Double glazing a joke, you could feel a draught when sitting near the windows. Bed very very uncomfortable (I think it needs a new mattress). Bathroom very small, no glasses (even plastic) in the bathroom to gargle when brushing your teeth. No hand towel to put on the floor outside the shower to ensure you don’t slip. Used the same hand towel on the floor to wipe your hands. Breakfast very limited for vegetarians. 1st of stay there was only had 1 orange in the fruit bowl, 2nd day no fruit at all. 2nd day of stay no croissants, asked for them and was told there was none. The toaster was totally useless. There was no electric element on the top, took 3 attempts including flipping the toast to getting some sort of toast. All the staff were nice and did their best. Would not advise anyone to stay here and am even thinking of not booking with Travelodge in the future.

I called Travelodge to change a booking from Dec 25 to Oct 25. Aside from the admin fee of £12.50, I was told that there would be an additional cost of £69. The original booking cost was £60.99 - I was expecting there may be a slight surcharge but am shocked by this unashamed exploitation

Right my name is nasir mirza i have been booking travelodge ilford clements road for few months now and my last stay was before hune this year. I went holiday for few months and came back couple days ago. I have come back to ilford travelodge clements road. Since coming after few months staff were so lovely to say hello welcome back like there never forgot me. There noticed me stright away as i was a regular for few months in a row. The manager lira who is running ilford travelodge is extremely good in her job and always vaules customers needs. I asked for an extra pillow and that was given without any hesitation and compilled with all my needs. I booked a disabled room and was given the biggest room. She is worthy of being a manager of ilford but needs praise and should be getting a pay rise because she was so friemdly and polite. Also i want to give a specail mention for a member of staff called ashif. He is such a nice guy who is always helpfull. And my wifi was nit working as he fixed that stright away. What a lovly staff at ilford travelodge. Thanks travelodge people like them is reason why i always recomend this travelodge of all others in east london. WENT TO TRAVEL LODGE SKEGNESS SEAFRONT. WENT FOR BIRTHDAY FOR A WEEK. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. POOR RUDE STAFF SERVICE. WAS CONFRONTED VIOLENTLY BY A CLEANER. ROOM NEVER CLEANED. HAD TO GO EACH EVENING TO GET TOWELS ETC. .BOOKED DISABLED ROOM WAY BEFORE IT OPENED. ONLY TO FIND ONE WASNT AVAILABLE TILL SECOND DAY. POORLY RUN .DONT RECOMMEND AT ALL. CAME AWAY STRESSED UPSET. NEEDING A BREAK.

This evening I came down to have a drink. When I went to get a glass of water I saw a rat, not a mouse, A RAT come out of the staff area into the public space. I felt very uncomfortable to enter the cafe/bar area ever again.

I have tried to cancel my booking for this Saturday, due to a family bereavement. I was advised to go on the customer service website and fill out a form which didn't accept my email address, what a joke! (even they have have my email address) they have made it impossible for you to actually cancel a booking. The customer service number is an alter-mated voice message, so you can not actually speak to anyone in person. Because i have a saver booking it is non refundable, this is why i actually wanted to speak to someone in person. Basically I will be loosing £252. Will never book with Travelodge again!!!

Had a 2 night stay in Harrogate central, room was a corner with 2 big windows and was very clean. I left my speaker and realised the next day, rang them to ask and not only did they have it, they returned it free of charge. Great customer service.
