Travelodge are disgusting. We had a little baby with us we booked a hotel with a king size bed and turned up the room smelt of cigarettes and the bed was a double. As we co-sleep, it wasn't big enough for us 3 and we at the time of check out explained this but they refused to give us our money back or refund us.
The cheek of them when writing in, they offered me a HOT breakfast on my next booking. They're a scam company and we're taking them to court.
