Very good value for money. Have used Travelodge a number of times and except for one hotel where I received abuse from a holidaymaker and suddenly no staff in sight, have been pleased with the cleanliness and friendliness of all we came in contact with.
As an elderly couple, a choice of a room near to the ground floor and/or option for a "quiet" room would have been nice but these are minor niggles and I would certainly recommend Travelodge if you are on a tight budget.
