Hi I am 64yrs old and have bad short term memory issues due to two sevre head injuries earlier in life.
I do like Travelodge. However I made a mistake on my booking and although I realised it and contacted them within 10 minutes it still lost me £26. On 03/05/2023 I booked for working ton for 13/05 but immediately realised it should have been for 06/05. The 13th was advertised at £79.
The 06th was at £63. So when I rectified my mistake I was still charged at £79 for 06th instead of £63 and £10 service charge was added. I do think they should at least allow a cooling off period of say a couple of hours to rectify errors where you are not penalised with the original booking fee when higher than fee for desired date as they do charge you £10 anyway for initiating change. Sorry but this way of doing business has soured my feelings towards this company
