My wife and I have been happily using Tavelodges for many years but have been alarmed by the tendency to no longer provide daily room service leaving beds unmade and the room uncleaned, even the passageways are looking scruffy. This seems to have copied so many firms using Covid as an excuse for cutting down on staff and services. It is a shame as we now look to other hotels for an enjoyable few day's break.
