I have scored based purely on the quality of the room. We stayed for one night in a newly refurbed room. The carpet was new, bathroom redone, new chairs and heater I think. Old units and bed. The cleanliness wasn't up to much, there were no net curtains and we were in a room overlooking other windows so felt we couldn't have our curtains open, no privacy. Bed creaked and squeaked. Mattress and pillows were manageable. Disappointed for a newly refurbed room (also no hairdryer) but served a purpose.
IF however I could score for a particular staff member, I would give Trevor a 5*. I spoke to him on phone pre arrival and he was helpful, understanding and did his absolute upmost for us given what he had at his disposal. He was also there at check in and was friendly and helpful then too. I do hope he gets recognition. So although I scored 3, this is based on the room only.
