I searched Delta Airline's unaccompanied minor and a number popped up. I spoke to an Indian dude and gave my reservation number and full name. I wanted to change my ticket, He said Delta Airlines contracts them to help with reservations and ticketing. He took a look and said the cost is $580 and asked for my credit card number.
I then said, wait a minute, Delta never asks for my card details. That's when I became suspicious. I asked him to send a credit card authorization form to my email. When I received a payment link, I realized I had been fooled. I wasn't speaking to Delta airlines but Travelpod.
I quickly hung up the phone.
When I finally got hold of Delta, they told me that the change wasn't possible and a ticket refund was my only option.
I'm glad I was smart enough to intercept this scam. BEWARE of TravelPod. The number I called was (844) 448 - 5394. He then called me back on (844) 354 -4809.
