I booked a Jet Airways flight through Travel Trolley. Once Jet Airways were having financial issues, I was in regular communication with Travel Trolley. They assured me that they will look for a resolution whilst monitoring the situation.
As time passed I was getting deeply concerned as my flights were approaching with no E-ticket issued. I raised these concerns with Travel Trolley who kept reassuring me that they are doing their best. I discussed the possibility of getting a refund which they seemed to dismiss.
After some time had passed, my flights were officially cancelled the week before I was due to fly out. I had to pay £320 extra, however if I was issued a refund as soon as Jet Airways were having trouble, then I wouldn't have had to pay that much extra.
I have discussed this with Travel Trolley who take no responsibility with making false promises. As an experienced company in the travel industry, they should have anticipated the outcome and offered refunds straight away instead of trying to hold on to their customers.
