A group of friends decided to honor our dear friend by donating trees in her memory. We had 22 trees at last count. The massive flower arrangements at the service were lovely, but were wilted by the end of the day in the brutal Texas heat. We feel our donations in Patti Lamachia's name will serve as a tribute to her and the effort to replenish our forests. This will be my go-to spot for birthday gifts too. At our age, we have at least three of everything we need.
