I owned a Mason Pearson hairbrush for 52; YES!! 52 years. It finally fell apart. Time to order a new one. I searched online and Tressance had the model and color that I wanted at a fair price. My brush arrived very quickly and my hair(still not grey at 72 years!) and scalp are very happy with my new brush.
