We've visited the gift shop almost every one of the 30+ times we've been to Ireland. In two cases, around 1996 and now, we've ordered on-line. In 1996 we purchased three framed, limited edition reproductions of Book of Kells pages. They arrived to NJ in beautiful condition, and are the most showcased and treasured item in our home. More recently, we purchased the Book of Kells book - gift edition. It arrived in a timely manner to our home in PA. Couldn't be more pleased with the exquisite quality of the numerous illustrations and accompanying text. The offerings of the gift shop go well above and beyond those of other "touristy" shops.
