I bought the bontrager xxx carbon seatpost and the adapter ears for 7x9mm saddle rails which are recommended and deemed compatible on the website. These are clearly not compatible components, evident to anybody packing the goods for postage. I phoned customer services and was told somebody would get back to me within 30mins. 2 hours later and no response. I called back and was told somebody would email me by the end of the day pending a response from bontrager/trek. Still no information with regards to the correct adapter ears for this high-end seatpost by the following day, I phoned to explain my frustration and request a return. No apology was given and I was spoken to like a nuisance customer. Considering I'd invested in excess of £130 on a product I was looking forward to using, the experience was wasted by Triton Cycles. I shan't be using the company again, nor will I be recommending it to a single cyclist.
