I bought a Tern Cargo Rack on Wednesday night and was pleasantly surprised to see my delivery (by DPD) arriving on Sunday. The package was well sealed against the elements, and had some internal bubble wrap, but a small section of the cargo rack had had the black paint rubbed or scraped off to expose the aluminium below. This may have happened in transit, perhaps beforehand (e.g. warehouse/storage) or maybe even passed QA at Tern with this damage. The full RRP of the rack is £60, Triton had it on offer for £50, and I needed to install the rack to save my sanity, so I didn't bother complaining for the sake of a ~3cm scratch, but I think this qualifies as a premium pannier rack and would expect it to arrive with the paintwork intact! Other than that, no complaints, so just one star down for the room for improvement.
