Ordered one for myself and one as a gift for my sister. She said it was ripe and smelled so good as soon as she opened the box. She loved it and said it was really good and sweet!
Mine was only about half ripe, so part of it was a little sweet, though not much different from a regular pineapple, and the other half was a little bitter.
