The fruit was all absolutely delicious. It was well packed and the ice packs in the bottom kept the fruit at a nice cool temperature. The papaya, avocados and pink pineapple were all large and especially tasty. We had never had mamey before, but will definitely order it again. The best way I can described the taste of the mamey is across between a sunrise papaya and a ripe Japanese persimmon.
