I believe that Trustpilot are sharing fake reviews because they prevent you from leaving transparent reviews for companies that pay them for their services.
I’ve had a couple of my 1-star reviews removed by them that fall within guidelines.
Also read a number of accounts from other users / ex-users that Trustpilot are not to be trusted for this very reason.
As a result I’ve deleted my account as have other members of my network.
So, Trustpilot is not to be trusted.
