I find it incredible that Trustpilot allows anyone to create an account in a Company's name without the Company having any knowledge of the account and therefore having no way of replying to the reviews, unless they are made aware of them by a third party. How can this be right? Surely Trustpilot should have the common decency to let the Company know. This leaves Trustpilot open to accounts being created by disgruntled customers who haven't had their own way (rightly or wrongly). There are many fake reviews on Trustpilot for our Company which are not only untrue, but libellous, we have successfully had the same reviews removed by Google as they accepted the reviews were libellous and untrue. These reviews are damaging our business and we are looking into taking further action against, not only Trustpilot, but the people who have left the reviews. It seems Trustpilot doesn't care and this is why it is the prime site for FAKE reviews.
