Trustpilot shields some of the companies from bad reviews.
In my case this happened with a shady Chinese company SheIn (which I gave 2 stars - for being able to return their junk):
1. When writing the review there's a field for "order #", however with no indication this is mandatory for the review to be published. I didn't fill it up.
2. They contacted me saying the publication has been put on hold until I provide the order no. I sent it to them.
3. After that I got this response:
"Unfortunately, what you have sent is not enough for our process. If you could send us a PDF file, screenshot or forward email of proof of purchase, for example an e-mail from the company containing the order number, your name/email address, the date and the company name/logo that would be great."
Now you know on who's side the Trustpilot is.
And btw. SheIn is junk, don't waste your money with them.
