I’ve only used Turo once. Their arrangement is a little strange. The owner of the vehicle gave me an address where to meet. Turns out it was McDonalds. I thought I was at the wrong location so I contacted the owner but got no answer. I waited ten minutes and the owner arrived. The car was ok. Nice car…not the cleanest car but ok for the price. I used the car for three days and retuned it to the same location. The owner inspected the vehicle before I left and found $20 on the front driver floor. She ran over to me and said “you dropped this”. I appreciated her honesty so much that I told her to keep it. Renting this Turo car was a lot cheaper than renting from Enterprise that’s for sure. But be careful, be selective, and pick out a higher priced car because no matter what, it’ll still be cheaper than a rental from a rental agency but you’ll probably end up happy that the car is in good condition. And folks, respect other people’s property. Return the car the way you found it and take lots of before and after pictures. Overall, I didn’t have a bad experience. I’ll probably rent from Turo again. Peace to the World!!
