Strongly advise against using Turo. My experience with customer service was horrible.I rented a vehicle had low tire pressure, reached out to owner they said nothing to worry about that the warning never shuts off & they had new tires. Ended up with 2 flat tires on my way back home in a stranded area & got caught in a severe weather flood warning to where I had to wait out the storm/make difficult decisions to try get out of the storm to return the car & avoid further issues. Due to the storm & location i was stranded my cell service was not good even though i contacted the owner every chance I got service to let them know the situation & that i couldnt make the return on time. I received no support or understanding with customer service and was forced have the car towed away when I was on my way home to return it.
All these circumstances, Turo canceled my account charged me extra , regardless of the facts & customer service not putting anything into the system of my situation.Their complete disregard for fairness and accountability is unacceptable.
Read the terms of service & they claim to work with you with weather conditions beyond your control but that's completely false.
I don't recommend Turo to anyone .
