I immediately flagged concerns about the host’s dishonesty, including him lying to an officer and overcharging me for fuel. However, Turo ignored my warnings and let the host continue operating on their platform. Even worse, Turo removed my negative review of the host, claiming it violated policies—when in reality, it was factual and backed by proof. If Turo refuses to take reports seriously, it creates a dangerous environment for future renters. Sadly, this experience shows that Turo prioritizes hosts over guest safety and transparency.
