Hello people, just wanted to make people aware that are traveling to Orlando, FL. I recently booked a van with a host for pickup at MCO airport. I was notified after I landed that the van was not parked at the actual airport itself. But rather at an "airport parking lot" 7-8 minutes away. And I needed to take a shuttle there. To which was a 15 to 17 minute wait to get to us. This was very misleading as I paid extra to have the vehicle at the actual airport. In addition, upon returning the vehicle, we had to drive to the so called "airport parking lot" and then proceeded to drive all the way to back to park it. Then walk (4-5 minutes) with our luggage in hand to the front and wait for the shuttle to bring us back to the airport. Fortunately, it wasn't a long wait. I called turo and as usual no help there. It was considered part of the airport and is fully allowed to advertise as such. Host found a loop hole with the Orlando airport (MCO) and can charge for airport pickup fee because it's considered "airport parking". Just beware of this as this was very frustrating for me.
