Keep away from Turo.
I booked with Turo few months ahead.
They charged my credit card a week before the Check in.
Since I had no news from the owner a few days before my arrival at Salt Lake City, I tried to communicate with the car owner but with no success.
Finally I was told by Turo that the car was not available anymore and they offered me a replacement (downgrade + $$) which i refused of course.
They normally get the owner a penalty but in my case I was left with nothing and I had to turn out to Avis at the last minute ($$$)
