I’ve never used Turo before, yet my account was restricted immediately after signing up — with no explanation. Instead of providing a specific reason, they sent me a vague list of “possible” causes, none of which applied to me. I combed through the list and there was absolutely nothing that justified this restriction.
What’s worse? They told me I could reapply in two years. TWO YEARS — for an account I never even had a chance to use! That is absolutely absurd and unacceptable. I’ve never experienced such poor onboarding or customer treatment from any other platform.
This kind of practice makes me seriously question their credibility and how they handle customer data. I will never do business with Turo and strongly advise others to avoid this company. There are far better and more transparent car rental options out there.
