I rented a vehicle 3 weeks prior to my requirement, had communication with the "host" the day prior to travel, flew 6 hours across the country only to find out at 5:30 pm that the "host" had cancelled my reservation at sometime during my flight. With no car available from another rental agency, I was hit with an overnight Hotel bill, missed family get-together and a premium to rent the next day via another agency on short-notice. During my business travel days I've rented approx 100 times thru traditional auto rental agencies and never had this happen. This appears to be a frequent happening with Turo and translated into a complete disregard for user "customer service". This was my first and will be my last interface with this mal-functioning scheme. If you are expecting a reliable, customer centric rental experience instead of a chaotic, unsure, "pay up-front" questionable risk, rent via the traditional Car Rental companies and spare the anxiety. Turo is no "Miracle"!
