I recently booked a one-month trip with Turo. Due to personal reasons, I had to return the vehicle 3 days early, which was approved by the car owner. I didn’t ask for a refund, just arranged an earlier return.
To my surprise, on the return day, I was charged an extra $827.46. Turo told me this was because the monthly discount no longer applied after the change in dates.
So just by returning the car 3 days early (with owner approval), my total trip cost jumped from $1,685.38 to $2,512.84 – a huge and unfair increase.
Please double-check your bookings and bank accounts if you’ve made any changes to your Turo rentals. This kind of pricing change without clear warning is shocking.
