The car was fine, but the Trip Fee was unreasonably high – nearly $120 just in “service fees” on top of the rental price. It’s very misleading because the actual cost ends up being much more than the daily rate shown.
I reached out to Turo support, but they refused to explain or adjust anything.
Be very careful – always check the full total before booking. The platform fees can be higher than the car itself. I won’t be using Turo again unless they improve transparency.
