I was charged a fee for vehicle delivery, but the host never delivered the car. Despite this, I was later informed that I needed to pick up the car myself because the price supposedly did not include delivery.
However, the app clearly showed a delivery fee included in the final cost. The charge was not itemized in the receipt—it was blended into the total amount, making it unclear unless examined closely. Even after I sent a screenshot showing the app’s error, they did not acknowledge it. This lack of transparency made it difficult to immediately identify the issue. I have a screenshot that clearly shows the cost was associated with delivery.
To date, no one has acknowledged the app’s mistake or the fact that I was charged for a service that was never provided. This situation feels misleading and unfair, especially given the clear evidence I’ve submitted. As a result, I canceled the reservation—but they still charged me a cancellation fee, which I am currently disputing with my credit card company.
