Uber eats is a thief. I accidentally ordered two family meals instead of one. As soon as I paid and realized it, I canceled the order immediately. On my Uber eats app It said that my order was canceled. I re-ordered one family meal and was charged for that. One family meal was delivered. I was charged for the order that was canceled and for the order that I received. When I contacted, Uber eats, the customer service agent said that there was nothing that they could do because the order was already processed. I asked to speak to a manager and she said there was not a manager available to speak with. She said there was nothing I could do since I already placed the order even though it was canceled on the app. I was charged for two meals I didn’t receive. This was the worst customer experience I’ve ever had from a food delivery service. I usually only order from DoorDash, but this restaurant was not available on DoorDash. Whenever I have any issues with DoorDash, they immediately credit me back whether the wrong item was sent or if an item was missing. I will never order from Uber eats again.
