I’ve used Uber Eats plenty of times before but this last order really pushed my patience. I ordered a Coke with ice and they brought me tea instead. Honestly, I’m not even mad about the drink — mistakes happen. What I’m mad about is the complete lack of customer service. Uber Eats is one of those companies that constantly says they “value their customers” and “thank you for being a loyal member.” But those are just empty words they have to say to sound good, not something they actually mean. When I reached out to support, they offered me a 30 cent credit. Thirty cents! That doesn’t even cover the drink I paid for. I explained the issue again and again, but all I got back were canned responses and silence. At one point I sat there waiting over two hours without anyone actually helping me. I’ve been a loyal customer, and I don’t think it’s too much to expect a fair refund or at least some genuine customer service. Instead, I felt ignored and brushed off. It’s frustrating and honestly makes me rethink using Uber Eats at all. Uber Eats clearly relies on automated systems and canned replies because it’s cheaper than paying for real people to answer phones and handle problems. That might save them money, but it leaves customers stuck with poor service. Until they start valuing their customers and providing real support, I can’t recommend using Uber Eats.
